An arbitration body pursuant to Section 16 of the German Act on Equal Opportunities of Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz - BGG) has been established under the Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities. The arbitration body has the task of settling disputes between persons with disabilities and federal public bodies on the topic of accessibility out of court.
